Years in the Business
2020 for most was to be the year of great things. We were supposed to be celebrating 30 years of being in practice, but we really were on the verge of a complete COVID 19 lockdown. We now are on the verge of another Covid Tax Season in 2021. Who would have thought…

In 2020 we passed the 20K+ submission of tax returns, another milestone. And that’s not including Disputes, Appeals, Remissions of Penalties and just talking to SARS! We don’t know what 2021 has in store for us, and we can’t wait to find out, because we are positive by nature.
From the Directors Chair
I am an accidental entrepreneur. I didn’t dream of starting my own business, in fact, I didn’t think about it at all. I was extremely happy as a corporate ladder climber. But fate had other plans, and at 25 I found myself in business. The reason I know so much today is because, like many, I lacked trust in SARS. So I used to go to the three offices that were in my locality and ask the same question. Over time I got known at the SARS offices and my friendliness won me a lot of time on the information gathering talk meter.
The practice has grown substantially from those humble roots all those years ago and we have re-branded a few times along the way. The one thing I have learned is that people don’t care what you know, they care about what you do with what you know. I am committed to being significant to all who pass me by in this journey we call life. If that means a peaceful nights sleep because their tax is sorted and in safe hands then I am achieving why I breathe air each and every day. I am passionate about tax and cannot imagine a life without it.
